Tillsist, se vilken fin studentpresent jag fick av henne! Två mycket fina och praktiska grytlappar som hon stickat och ett mycket värdefullt kuvert som kommer väl till pass. Tack!
Here in Härnösand, I sometimes meet one of the coolest and most elegant ladies I have ever met. Her name is Christina and she's 91 years old!
She is really an amazing woman, and we always have a great time together. I have borrowed an album with her youthpictures, and they are so adorable!
The first one is from the 40's, then it's three 30's, and then 40's again. I have pictures from the whole album, so you will see more soon!
And then, what I wore this sunday when I last met her (and the result of the inspiration I got from Clara and Linnéa!);
Dress, present from mum's workingcollegue Kajsa (who's mum had it in the 50's)
Cardigan, swedish store Indiska.
Shoes, swedish store Din sko.
The hairstyle is actually quite simple;
After I had showered and my hair was dry, I combed the fringe with some "läggningsvätska" (I really don't know the word for that in english, but it's a liquid used for rolling hair, mostly used in the 20's-60's, until mousse, gel etc came). I pinned it back, and "pushed" the wave forward. I made two loops of the rest of the hair, and pinned it. The other side I did in the same way. In the morning, I replaced the rollingpins with decorated bobby pins and sprayed, and the rest of the hair I just rolled into a bun. Voíla!
And, finally, I got a lovely graduation present from her;
two pretty and practical pot-holders (do you say that?) that she had knitted, and a very valuable envelope that I really need right now. Thank you!
